In his current roles, Gu Weixi serves as the Dean of the Chinese Painting Research Institute at Southeast University, a Professor at the Art College, and a Doctoral Research Supervisor. His influence extends to being the head of a key Philosophy and Social Sciences research base in Jiangsu Province's universities.
