钱塘湖春行: A Journey Through Time and Beauty"

孤山寺北贾亭西，水面初平云脚低。

几处早莺争暖树，谁家新燕啄春泥。

乱花渐欲迷人眼，浅草才能没马蹄。

最爱湖东行不足，绿杨阴里白沙堤。

 

North of the Lonely Mountain Temple, west of Jia Pavilion,

The water's surface is calm, with clouds hovering low.

In several places, early orioles vie for the warm trees,

Whose home has the new swallows pecking spring mud?

Flowers in disarray might soon bewilder one's eyes,

Shallow grass can barely hide the horse's hooves.

Most beloved is the east of the lake, where one can never walk enough,

Under the shade of green poplars, on the white sand embankment.
