About Artwork
This small copper teapot is forged using traditional hammering techniques, embodying the philosophy of “craft for purpose, tool as vessel.” During forging, the artisan works with a rhythm—“hammer as measure, fire as law”—following the ancient Chinese worldview of tian ren he yi (heaven and man in union). By harnessing natural fire and human force, the metal is guided into form. This teapot becomes a micro-carrier of traditional craftsmanship and culture, where every hammer mark echoes the wisdom of the ancients.
